Defender is a monthly newsletter focused on global environmental justice.
Each edition will be written by me, Alessandra Bergamin, and will focus on a theme ranging from public health to corporate accountability. Through short essays, Defender will illuminate the ways in which the environmental movement exists at the crux of related and seemingly unrelated issues. It will draw connections between these topics, highlight the work of environmental defenders around the world — the people after whom this newsletter is named — and explore solutions to some of the world’s most pressing environmental justice issues.
If you know someone that might enjoy this newsletter, please share it!
